Join us for a full-day birding excursion along Joe Overstreet Road and Landing, led by expert Florida birding guide David Simpson. Stretching through open pastureland to the shores of Lake Kissimmee, this premier Osceola County hotspot offers unmatched roadside viewing for prairie species, raptors, and wetland birds. We will scout the fence lines, pastures, and lakefront for specialty species including Crested Caracara, Snail Kite, Sandhill Crane, Bald Eagle, and early spring migrants. Free and open to birders of all experience levels.
What to Bring: Binoculars, spotting scope (if available), packed lunch, water, sun protection, and bug spray.
Terrain: Easy roadside car-birding with flat, unpaved grassy paths near the landing.
