Season Finale Bird Walk & Potluck Picnic at Princess Place Preserve

Wrap up our birding season at historic Princess Place Preserve with a morning bird walk followed by our annual end-of-season potluck picnic and social time. Nestled at the confluence of Pellicer Creek and the Matanzas River, this pristine 1,500-acre preserve offers rich salt marsh, pine flatwoods, and ancient oak hammocks. We will scout the trails for nesting Bald Eagles, Ospreys, wading birds, and late spring songbirds before gathering under the oaks for our potluck lunch and seasonal celebration. Free and open to birders of all experience levels.

What to Bring: Binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, water, bug spray, and a potluck dish or item to share.

Terrain: Easy, flat unpaved dirt trails and grassy lawn areas.
