Fall Migration Bird Walk at Mead Botanical Garden

Meeting Point: WinnDixie on SR. 100 at 9am - we will carpool.
Kick off the fall birding season with a guided walk through one of Central Florida’s premier migration hotspots. As songbirds travel south, Mead Botanical Garden’s mix of hardwood canopy, wetlands, and open water provides essential shelter and forage. We will scout the boardwalk and wooded trails for migrating warblers, vireos, flycatchers, and resident species like Barred Owls and Red-headed Woodpeckers. Free and open to birders of all experience levels.
What to Bring: Binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, water, and bug spray.
Terrain: Easy, flat unpaved paths and wooden boardwalks.
