Bird Walk at Central Park

Meeting Point: Environmental Center at 9:00 AM.

Explore the interconnected lakes, boardwalks, and wooded trails of Central Park in Ormond Beach as wintering bird populations arrive. This urban sanctuary features freshwater lakes, wetlands, and shaded canopy paths that provide rich habitat for returning winter residents, wading birds, and resident raptors. We will scout the trails surrounding the Environmental Center for wintering ducks, songbirds, and wetland species. Free and open to birders of all experience levels.

What to Bring: Binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, water, and bug spray.

Terrain: Easy, flat paved trails and wooden boardwalks.

Admission: Free.
